The balaclava mask covers the lower face, nose, neck and sometimes the ears, without the clutter of a full hood on the head. This selection brings together face protectors that can be worn under a motorcycle, bicycle or ski helmet without creating a pressure point, while evacuating condensation and letting the head breathe. Depending on your practice, you will find a breathable ski balaclava mask or a more covering model for extreme cold.
The balaclava mask meets a need for targeted comfort: it protects the face without covering the top of the head, which frees the skull to better regulate the temperature during exercise. It is the right choice when the full hood becomes too hot or too thick under the helmet.
Whether you're riding a motorcycle, bike or ski, the fit of the helmet is everything. Without fabric on the top of the head, the goggles avoid pressure points and the helmet stays in place. Support is provided by ear fasteners, the elasticity of the mesh or adjustable straps at the back of the neck. For even thinner protection under the helmet, the Skiflow ski goggles focus on an openwork area in the mouth.
The flexible structure of the hood mask can be lowered with a gesture to communicate, hydrate or catch your breath during a break, without removing all the equipment. This is what distinguishes a half mask from a closed hood: the protection remains adjustable over the course of the ride.
Thanks to the soft neoprene or perforated polyester, the goggles channel the exhaled air downwards instead of letting it rise towards the goggles or ski goggles. By isolating the nose and mouth, it limits condensation and keeps clear vision, a key point on the descent as well as on the road.

Without covering the skull, the balaclava mask can be worn under full-face motorcycle helmets, ski or bicycle helmets without changing the size of the shell required.
Hand or short cycle washing at 30°C preserves the elasticity of the fibres and the tightness of the neoprene. Air dry to prevent deformation.
