Our Calice women's fur balaclava covers the head, neck and lower face in one piece. The outside features thick cable-knit fabric. A wide faux-fur trim frames the face, while a soft fleece lining keeps warmth in. Two drawstrings tighten the hood when the wind picks up, and the face mask folds down whenever you no longer need it.
In very cold weather, wear Calice fully closed: hood up, face mask over the nose and neck snug around the neck. On a café terrace or inside a shop, lower the mask to uncover the face without removing the hood. Once indoors, lower the hood onto the shoulders to create a thick neck warmer. For models requiring a choice of size, it is recommended to measure the head circumference with a tape measure. Position it about 1 cm above the ears to get the most accurate measurement and ensure a perfect fit.

Prefer a mild detergent in small quantities, as an excess can leave residues that irritate the skin. Never use aggressive bleaching agents or detergents that may degrade the material. Also avoid washing your hood too frequently in order to preserve its thermal insulation properties. Tumble drying is prohibited, as is direct drying in the sun, which can weaken fabrics and cause discoloration. Prefer natural drying in the open air, in the shade, by laying your hood flat to avoid any deformation. If spinning is necessary, gently squeeze out the excess water without twisting to keep its shape intact.
