The tumble dryer is to be avoided, as is direct sunlight drying, which can weaken the fabrics and cause discoloration. Prefer natural air drying in the shade, laying your balaclava flat to avoid any deformation. If spinning is necessary, gently press out the excess water without twisting to keep its shape intact.
